「うーまくー」はメンバー全員インドネシア人です。ペルーは沖縄からの移民が多い国ですが、「青龍」には、沖縄系でないメンバーもいます。バックグラウンドがさまざまなメンバーと、一つのステージで踊るのは、とても楽しかったです。
「うーまくー」の獅子、サロンも登場しました。サロンは、沖縄の獅子頭と、バリ島の獅子の聖獣Barongをミックスしたもので、「うーまくー」メンバーの手作りです。細部まで凝っていて、とてもきれいです。
ステージを一緒に作って下さった皆さん、ありがとうございました。

I performed a creative eisa performance in Ryukyu Mura with members of "Umaku Eisa Shinka Indonesia" and "Seiryu Eisa Kai Peru".
All of the members of Umaku are Indonesian. Peru is a country with many immigrants from Okinawa, but some members of Seiryu are not of Okinawan descent. It was a lot of fun to dance on the same stage with members of such diverse backgrounds.
Umaku's shishi named Sarong also appeared. Sarong is a mix of an Okinawan shishimai and a Barong, the sacred lion of Bali, and was handmade by the member of Umaku. It is elaborately made down to the smallest detail and is very beautiful.
